106.7 degrees

We watched the temperatures rise this afternoon.
We stayed inside and made pineapple sorbet.

I have found a new love.

The attachment to the Kitchen Aid worked great.

I hope to learn how to make ice cream too.

The squash leaves found a way to stay cool.

The Tiger Lilies are beginning to bloom.
They seem to like the high heat!
I am staying cool.
Sorbet is my new favorite food.

  1. Sorbet is what you need for this type of weather. Isn't this weather awful?? It was as hot here yesterday. To be worse here today. It is plumb scary hot...and dry.

  2. Dear Sherry, Who eats sorbet to keep cool,

I love sorbet, lemon is my faourite, and coming a close second is mango :)

Too hot, oh my, it is a little frightening.
We had severe storms and flooding in the North of England yesterday. People had to leave there homes, fortunately there were no fatalities.

    Stay cool,

Cheryl, who wore a jacket today.
